Krauss smiled slightly, handing the pants over. “They don’t match the tunic exactly, but let me guess, Herr Snake: I’ll probably never see you wearing them anyway. You don’t seem the type to sit around the East Wing and look pretty in a parade uniform.” He shrugged slightly. “Besides, that’s a difficult job reserved for Major Raikov. You haven‘t met him yet; you will soon.”
He stepped over the mess he made, leaving pants and boots where they lay, and surveyed the scene. “A real shame too, after a shower and a shave, you probably won’t look half bad. Maybe even like something I’d want to socialize with. It’s difficult to tell so soon, really.”
