Ocelot cringed, and felt a flush creep along his brow.
"Sorry," he bit out. "That wasn't my choice. Take it up with the MVD."
He paused, dropping his voice to the quietest possible whisper.
"I'm good for it, you know that. That's an IOU, Major."
He glanced up at the crowd of soldiers, chattering quietly amongst themselves.
He scowled.
"Believe me, I'd rather have stayed and gotten off a few more shots myself."
Raikov's men. He pitied the Major for a moment, tryiing to motivate his frightened bunnies into a line.
"They might be slow and undisciplined," he offered, "but they make great human shields for my squad."
