"Ivan," he hissed. "Where the hell are you? Volgin is becoming a fucking Tesla coil. I don't want to become his first demonstration because you're thwarting danger somewhere. I'm supposed to be watching you, you prick-"

He broke off.

Clicked off.

There was no need for Raikov to know he'd been assigned to be his constant companion. That would only make him more difficult to deal with.
